Ingredients

  • 2 loaves Syrian bread
  • green onions
  • parsley
  • 1 cucumber
  • small bunch mint
  • 2 Tbsp. thyme
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • juice of 3 lemons
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • black olives
  • 1 bunch leaf lettuce

Instructions

  1. Break the Syrian bread into bite-sized pieces and cut all vegetables into small pieces.
  2. Mix the bread and vegetables in a salad bowl.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, and garnish with black olives.
