Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. fig preserves, strawberry or whatever kind of preserves you like

Instructions

  1. Sift flour and mix all ingredients. Blend well and pour in greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325°.
