Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 2 to 3 c. green pepper chunks
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot.
  2. Combine all ingredients including tomatoes, tomato sauce, cooked rice, green pepper chunks, beef bouillon cubes, brown sugar, and salt in the pot with the browned beef.
  3. Simmer the mixture for at least 1 hour, stirring often.
