Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. flank steak
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. oleo
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 cup stuffing mix
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  1. Microwave the mushrooms, oleo, and sliced onion for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until tender.
  2. Mix the stuffing mix with water to moisten.
  3. Combine 8 ounces of tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and garlic powder.
  4. Mix all the prepared mixtures together in a bowl.
  5. Spread the mixture down the center of the pounded flank steak.
  6. Roll the steak to enclose the filling and secure with toothpicks.
  7. Place the rolled steak seam side down in a glass baking dish.
  8. Pour the remaining 8 ounces of tomato sauce over the top of the roll.
  9. Microwave on High for 5 minutes, then cook on Medium for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through.
