Hearty foil-wrapped dinners featuring tender beef, vegetables, and savory mushroom and onion flavors, perfect for easy family meals or outdoor cooking.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. beef round steak
  • 10 oz. frozen peas
  • 4 medium carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes, pared
  • 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 8 cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut beef into 1-inch pieces.
  3. Run cold water over peas just until broken apart; drain.
  4. Tear off 4 pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil, each 18 x 15 inches.
  5. On each piece of foil, place 1 sliced carrot, 1 quartered potato, and 1/4 of the beef.
  6. Stir together cream of mushroom soup and onion soup mix; spoon over the beef and vegetables.
  7. Top with peas.
  8. Wrap each foil package securely and place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 50 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
  10. Garnish with 2 halved cherry tomatoes.
