- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Sprinkle the croutons evenly on the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the croutons.
- In a bowl, beat together the milk, eggs, salt, prepared mustard, onion powder, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croutons and cheese in the pan.
- Optional: crumble 4 slices of bacon on top of the mixture.
