Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 0.5 lb. candied cherries
  • 0.5 lb. candied pineapple
  • 1 lb. pecans
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  3. Add 3 cups of flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring to combine.
  4. Fold in the remaining flour until the batter is smooth.
  5. Stir in candied cherries, candied pineapple, and broken pecans.
  6. Add vanilla extract and mix until evenly distributed.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased Bundt pan.
  8. Bake at 250°F for 2½ hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
