Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

  1. Mix together the flour, oil, baking powder, black pepper, salt, and cold water.
  2. Knead the mixture until it forms a dough.
  3. Roll the dough into long strips about 2 inches wide.
  4. Cut the strips into small slices on a slant.
  5. Place the slices on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake in a 400°F oven for about 10 minutes on the lower shelf, then 10 minutes on the upper shelf until golden brown.
