Ingredients

  • 6 medium, firm tomatoes, sliced thin
  • 1 (13 to 16-inch) baked pizza crust
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (2 1/4 oz.) sliced, ripe olives, drained
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped, fresh basil or 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Place tomato slices in a circle on the crust, overlapping slightly, until the crust is completely covered.
  2. Drizzle olive oil over the tomatoes.
  3. Cover with sliced olives (if desired), diced green pepper, and diced onion.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil or dried basil, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
  5. Cover with shredded Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve immediately.
