Fritters "Bread"(Friganice)
Crispy, golden fritters made from bread-like batter, perfect for breakfast or snacks. Light, fluffy interior with a satisfying crunch, ideal for sweet or savory toppings.

- Combine yeast, warm milk, and 1/2 cup flour; set aside to rise until foamy.
- Beat egg yolks in a separate bowl.
- Add the yeast mixture to the egg yolks and mix well.
- Add remaining ingredients: milk, flour, and beaten egg yolks; beat until smooth.
- Cover the batter and let it rise until it doubles in size.
- Preheat about 2 1/2 cups of oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into hot oil.
- Brown the fritters on each side until golden.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with sugar or serve with sour cream, if desired.
