Instructions
- Mix and sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Make a well in the mixture and add the oil, beaten eggs, and vanilla in order.
- Beat until smooth.
- Add chopped dates, chopped nuts, and shredded coconut.
- Pour into a greased shallow baking dish (12 x 7 x 2 inches).
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Cut into bars while warm and remove from the pan when cooled.
