Ingredients

  • 8 oz. PR macaroni
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • 1 large can mandarin oranges
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries, drained and reserved juice
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni in boiling water until tender, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, mix together the egg, sugar, and flour until well combined.
  3. Add the reserved maraschino cherry juice to the mixture and cook over medium heat until thickened.
  4. Pour the cooked mixture over the cooked macaroni and refrigerate overnight to set.
  5. The next day, fold in the Cool Whip and drained mandarin oranges, crushed pineapple, and maraschino cherries.
  6. Serve chilled as a large fruit salad pudding.
