Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Bake the unbaked pie crust for 10 minutes and then remove. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F.
  3. Over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips with butter or margarine.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, beat the melted chocolate mixture with sweetened condensed milk, Bisquick, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Add chopped nuts to the mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the filling into the pre-baked pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Allow to cool before serving. Serve with warm ice cream if desired.
