Ingredients

  • 2 sticks melted margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup chopped English walnuts
  • 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 cups miniature marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Combine melted margarine, sugar, and salt; beat until creamy.
  2. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  3. Mix cocoa with flour and add to the egg mixture; mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in chopped English walnuts.
  5. Pour batter into a well-greased and floured 9x13 inch cake pan.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. Remove from oven and cover the hot cake with miniature marshmallows.
  8. Put back in the oven momentarily until marshmallows are melted.
  9. Cool thoroughly before frosting.
