Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
  • 2/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk
  • 2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Butter an 8-inch square pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar, and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir in marshmallows, chocolate morsels, vanilla, and nuts.
  7. Stir vigorously until marshmallows and morsels melt and blend.
  8. Pour into prepared pan.
  9. Cool; cut into squares.
