- In a separate container, sift together the flour and soda.
- In another bowl, blend shortening, egg, and brown sugar with a spoon.

- Add the melted chocolate into the mixture and blend well.
- Take frozen marshmallows and wrap dough around each one, one at a time.
- Place the wrapped marshmallows on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 5 to 10 minutes.
