Ingredients

  • 4 lb ground beef
  • 6 chopped onions
  • 4 chopped celery stalks
  • 2 green peppers
  • 1 qt tomato juice
  • 3 drops hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 oz chili powder
  • 4 large cans tomatoes
  • 1 bottle catsup
  • 3 cans beans

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet.
  2. Saute chopped onions, celery stalks, and green peppers until tender.
  3. In a large pot, combine tomato juice, hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, chili powder, canned tomatoes, and catsup.
  4. Add the browned beef and sauteed vegetables to the pot.
  5. Cook for 3 hours, then add the canned beans and cook a little longer until heated through.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.
