Ingredients

  • 4 oz. strong goat cheese
  • 16 oz. ricotta cheese
  • 6 extra large eggs
  • 1 tsp. fresh basil
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. fresh marjoram
  • 1/2 tsp. dried marjoram

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Grease a 10-inch cast-iron skillet well and bring ingredients to room temperature.
  3. Crumble goat cheese and mix with ricotta cheese.
  4. Beat the eggs well and combine with the cheese mixture.
  5. Add chopped fresh basil, marjoram, chopped garlic, and chopped parsley to the mixture.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared skillet.
  7. Bake in the oven at 375°F for 10 minutes.
  8. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and continue baking for 20 minutes.
  9. Remove from oven and serve hot with salad and French bread.
