Ingredients

  • 3 cups soft white bread cubes
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 cups warm water
  • 14 oz can Eagle Brand condensed milk
  • 2 Tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place bread cubes in a buttered 9-inch square baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until well combined.
  4. Stir in warm water, condensed milk, melted margarine or butter, salt, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly over the bread cubes, ensuring they are completely moistened.
  6. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool before serving.
  8. Serve warm or chilled. Refrigerate leftovers.
