- Make the crust by mixing the margarine, cream cheese, and flour.
- Form the dough into small balls.
- Roll out each ball to line small muffin tins.
- Make the filling by beating the eggs, brown sugar, melted margarine, and vanilla together.
- Sprinkle a few chopped pecans into each shell, then fill with the sugar and egg mixture.
- Place a pecan on top of each if desired.
- Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 250°F and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
