Ingredients

  • 2 cans (20 oz. each) crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 slices bread, crusts removed, buttered and cubed

Instructions

  1. Drain the pineapple, reserving 1 cup of juice.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine pineapple, juice, sugar, flour, and beaten eggs.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.
  5. Top with buttered bread cubes.
  6. Bake at 350°F, uncovered, for 45 to 50 minutes or until set and browned.
  7. Serve as a side dish with ham or poultry.
