Chewy, chocolate-infused cookies with crispy frosting flakes and streaks of melted chocolate, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings and entertaining guests with a nostalgic treat.

Instructions
- Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Crush the sugar frosted flakes to measure 1 1/2 cups.
- Set aside.
- Sift together the flour, soda, and salt.
- Set aside.
- Measure margarine and sugar into a bowl and beat until very light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
- Add sifted dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
- Fold in crushed flakes.
- Swirl warm melted chocolate lightly through the batter, leaving streaks of chocolate.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes.
