Gooey Date Bars

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and beat well.
- Add flour and baking powder sifted together.
- Add dates and nuts and mix well.
- Spread in a greased and floured pan and bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
- When cool, cut into squares and roll in powdered sugar. Will keep for weeks if packed in a tin box.
