Ingredients

  • 3 lb. very lean pork
  • 3 large onions, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Place ground pork in a large saucepan and add enough water to cover.
  2. Add chopped onions, salt, pepper, cinnamon, ground cloves, and allspice; stir occasionally until the meat is well cooked.
  3. Add bread crumbs gradually until the mixture holds together.
  4. Pour the mixture into several small molds.
  5. Allow to cool, then chill in the refrigerator.
  6. Can be frozen for later use.
