Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1/2 cup Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 package macaroni
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet; add diced celery and onion and cook until slightly browned.
  2. Add tomato sauce and Velveeta cheese to the meat mixture and stir until cheese melts.
  3. Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente, then drain.
  4. Combine the cooked macaroni with the meat mixture and add canned tomatoes.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake at 250°F (120°C) for 1 hour.
  6. If the mixture appears dry during baking, add tomato juice to keep it moist.
