Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 6 c. shredded cabbage
  • 1 c. grated carrots
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 medium diced bell pepper
  • 1/2 c. diced celery
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 6 oz. hot water

Instructions

  1. Heat Wesson oil in a frypan.
  2. Crumble ground beef into the frypan and brown, stirring frequently.
  3. Add shredded cabbage, grated carrots, chopped onion, diced green bell pepper, diced celery, salt, and hot water.
  4. Mix well and cover.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, stirring frequently during cooking.
  6. Pour the mixture into a 4-quart casserole dish.
  7. Add the cream of mushroom soup and half a can of water to the casserole.
