Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2/3 cup nuts, finely chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup shortening (Crisco)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and quickly.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  3. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 50 minutes.
