Ingredients

  • 1 c. All-Bran
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. raisins or nuts

Instructions

  1. Soak All-Bran in milk for 5 minutes.
  2. Add beaten egg, brown sugar, and white sugar to the bran mixture.
  3. Sift dry ingredients together: flour, baking powder, soda, and salt.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the bran mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Add vegetable oil and raisins or nuts, mixing gently.
  6. Fill greased muffin tins with the batter.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes.
