Ingredients
- 12 oz. spaghetti ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper or small jar pimento ⓘ
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms ⓘ
- butter ⓘ
- garlic powder ⓘ
- 3 pounds cooked chicken, cubed ⓘ
- 3/4 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed ⓘ
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1 can cream of chicken soup ⓘ
- 1 can chicken broth ⓘ
- salt and pepper to taste ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- Sauté chopped onion, green pepper, red bell pepper or pimento, and sliced mushrooms in a small amount of butter until tender.
- Combine cooked spaghetti, sautéed vegetables, cooked chicken, cubed Velveeta cheese, cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, salt, and pepper in a large pot.
- Heat over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and desired thickness is reached.
- Serve hot, optionally with tossed salad, Italian dressing, and garlic bread.
