Ingredients

  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 2 1/2 cups wheat germ
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • nuts, raisins, and dates (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix together quick oats, wheat germ, coconut, cinnamon, and brown sugar.
  2. Add honey and mix with fingers until evenly coated.
  3. Add oil and vanilla, then mix thoroughly.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown.
