Ingredients

  • 1 large can pork and beans
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 can Vienna sausage (drained)
  • approximately 1/4 cup tomato catsup
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 beef bouillon cube

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion finely.
  2. Drain the water from the Vienna sausage and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Add the chopped onion, Vienna sausage, and finely chopped beef bouillon cube to the large can of pork and beans.
  4. Mix in approximately 1/4 cup of tomato catsup and 1/2 stick of butter or margarine.
  5. Stir all ingredients together thoroughly.
  6. Put the mixture on high heat to start cooking.
  7. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
