Ingredients

  • 3 c. biscuit mix
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 c. fresh seedless grapes

Instructions

  1. Combine biscuit mix, brown sugar, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  2. Beat egg until frothy; mix in milk and melted butter.
  3. Pour egg mixture into dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Stir in grapes.
  5. Turn batter into 12 well-greased 2 1/2-inch muffin cups.
  6. Bake in preheated 400° oven for 20 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan while hot.
