Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb cottage cheese
  • 2 cups grated Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 2 cans green beans, chopped finely
  • 30 oz spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 lb box noodles, cooked
  • 1 cup liquid from green beans

Instructions

  1. Mix cottage cheese, 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese, egg, oregano, and chopped green beans together; set aside.
  2. Cook noodles according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer 1/3 of the spaghetti sauce on the bottom.
  4. Add 1/3 of the cooked noodles on top of the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the green bean mixture over the noodles.
  6. Repeat the layers: sauce, noodles, remaining green bean mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Pour the liquid (juice from beans) around the edges of the pan.
  9. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
