Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli (or any vegetable you like)
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 1 cup minced onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sweet basil
  • 3 cups cauliflower flowerets
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar or Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook onion and garlic in butter and oil until light and fragrant.
  2. Add salt, pepper, and basil. Then add chopped vegetables.
  3. Cover and reduce heat to medium-low, cooking until vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce.
  5. Add cooked spaghetti and cheese, tossing well until cheese melts and coats the pasta.
