Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 flat can chopped green chilies
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 package Doritos corn chips

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the hamburger and diced onion.
  2. Set the cooked meat aside.
  3. In a saucepan, heat the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and chopped green chilies until the cheese is melted and the sauce is heated through.
  4. In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, layer meat, crushed corn chips, and cheese sauce.
  5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cheese sauce.
  6. Bake at 325°F (163°C) for 45 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
