Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 (15 oz.) can pizza sauce
  • 1 (10 oz.) can corn
  • 1 tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until tender. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Stir in the flour, salt, and pepper until blended.
  3. Add the pizza sauce and corn, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.
  5. Separate the biscuits and arrange them over the beef mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes or until the biscuits are golden and the cheese is melted.
