Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef ⓘ
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine ⓘ
- 2 Tbsp. flour ⓘ
- 1 tsp. salt ⓘ
- 1 clove garlic, minced ⓘ
- dash of pepper ⓘ
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms or 1/2 to 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced ⓘ
- 1 (10.5 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup ⓘ
- 1 c. dairy sour cream ⓘ
- fresh parsley or chives, chopped ⓘ

Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter or margarine and brown onion; add ground meat and cook until meat is brown and onion is tender.
- Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper, and mushrooms.
- Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Stir in soup and heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
- Stir in sour cream and heat through.
- Ladle over Poppy Noodles and garnish with fresh chopped chives.
