Ingredients

  • 12 slices bread
  • butter
  • 3 cups diced ham
  • 1 pound broccoli (or 2 packages of 10 oz. cooked, chopped broccoli)
  • 3/4 pound sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 3 cups milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon diced onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Cut circles out of the center of each slice of bread and set aside.
  2. Butter a 3-quart casserole dish and place extra bread slices at the bottom.
  3. Layer bread circles on top of the broccoli, ham, and cheese in the casserole dish.
  4. In a bowl, mix milk, eggs, onion flakes, and mustard.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layered ingredients.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and cooked through.
