Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup unsifted flour
  • Brown sugar
  • 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ground baked ham
  • Dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Cream margarine and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
  2. Stir in flour until thoroughly mixed.
  3. Form the dough into a ball with hands, wrap in waxed paper, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out dough into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.
  5. Sprinkle ground baked ham over the dough.
  6. Lightly dust with brown sugar.
  7. Roll up the dough jelly roll fashion.
  8. Chill the rolled dough.
  9. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  10. Cut the roll into 16 slices and place on a cookie sheet.
  11. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
