Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup drained kidney beans

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef, chopped onion, and oil together until the beef is browned and the onion is tender.
  2. Add chili powder, salt (if using), Worcestershire sauce, canned tomatoes, and drained kidney beans to the beef mixture.
  3. Spread the corn bread batter on top of the beef mixture.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 20 minutes until the top is golden and cooked through.
