Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 24 oz. Ore-Ida hash browns, thawed
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (6 oz.) can French fried onion rings

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with chopped onions.
  2. Layer the cooked beef mixture in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. Top the beef layer with thawed hash browns.
  4. Mix cream of mushroom soup with sour cream and pour over the hash browns.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake until cheese is melted and bubbly, then top with French fried onion rings before serving.
