Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2/3 c. cubed cheese
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 3 c. elbow macaroni
  • 2 qt. water

Instructions

  1. Brown the hamburger in a heavy pan.
  2. Add chopped onion, tomato soup, milk, salt, and pepper to the pan.
  3. Cook the mixture for about 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  4. Add the cubed cheese to the mixture and turn off the burner.
  5. Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package directions.
  6. Drain the macaroni well and pour into a bowl.
  7. Add the sauce to the macaroni and serve.
