Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1/3 cup light cream
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Bisquick
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese

Instructions

  1. Mix Bisquick and cream well.
  2. Knead the dough 10 times on a floured board.
  3. Roll the dough into a circle to fit a 9-inch pie pan.
  4. Sauté ground beef and sliced onions until browned.
  5. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 2 tablespoons of Bisquick to the beef and onions.
  6. Pour the meat mixture into the prepared dough-lined pie pan.
  7. Beat eggs and blend with cottage cheese.
  8. Pour the egg and cottage cheese mixture over the meat.
  9. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  10. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
