Ingredients
- 16 oz. sour cream ⓘ
- 10 oz. condensed cream of chicken soup ⓘ
- 32 oz. thawed frozen hash brown potatoes ⓘ
- 2 cups smoked sausage, sliced ⓘ
- 1 lb. processed cheese (Velveeta), cubed ⓘ
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 cup melted margarine ⓘ
- 4 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese ⓘ
- 3 green pepper rings ⓘ
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine sour cream and condensed cream of chicken soup.
- Stir in thawed hash brown potatoes, smoked sausage, cubed processed cheese, and chopped onion.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 3-quart baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, toss together crushed cornflakes and melted margarine.
- Sprinkle the cornflake mixture evenly over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
