Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheese
  • 15 ounces corned beef hash

Instructions

  1. Mix cornmeal, salt, and cold water in a bowl.
  2. Add the mixture to boiling water and cook, stirring, until thickened.
  3. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan and push up on the sides of the pan.
  5. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup cheese.
  6. Fill with corned beef hash.
  7. Pour ketchup over the top and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  8. Bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
