Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 (7 1/2 oz.) can crabmeat
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the broiler.
  2. Clean the mushrooms and remove stems if desired.
  3. Mix crabmeat, egg, mayonnaise, chopped onion, lemon juice, and bread crumbs in a bowl.
  4. Stuff each mushroom with the crab mixture.
  5. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and broil until bubbly and golden, about 10 minutes.
