- Roll the puffed pastry dough into a 9 x 12-inch rectangle and place it on a greased cookie sheet.
- Mix together the drained, flaked salmon, crushed saltine crackers, 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons sour cream, grated onion, melted butter, salt, pepper, dill, garlic powder, and parsley.
- Place the salmon mixture down the center of the dough rectangle.
- Fold the sides of the dough toward the center and pinch them together to form a seam.
- Mix the egg yolk with 1 teaspoon water and brush it over the top of the pastry.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the pastry.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
