Ingredients

  • 4 lb. chicken, cut up
  • 1 1/2 cups salad oil
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 4 tsp. Accent
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Place chicken pieces in a large shallow pan.
  2. Mix all ingredients to make the marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
  4. Let stand in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or overnight, turning the chicken occasionally.
  5. Remove chicken from marinade and grill over glowing outdoor grill, cooking meat side first, then skin side.
  6. Baste frequently with the marinade sauce during grilling.
