Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon celery seed ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon oregano leaves ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard ⓘ
- 1 medium bay leaf ⓘ
- 2 pounds boneless beef sirloin ⓘ
- 16 pepper squares (green, yellow or red) ⓘ
- 16 medium mushroom caps ⓘ
- 4 small onions ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine oil, cider vinegar, onion powder, celery seed, garlic powder, oregano leaves, black pepper, prepared mustard, and the bay leaf in a saucepan.
- Heat the mixture to boiling point, then remove from heat and let it cool.
- Cut the beef into 1 1/2-inch cubes.
- Add the beef cubes, pepper squares, mushroom caps, and quartered onions to the cooled marinade in a Ziploc bag.
- Mix well to coat all ingredients evenly.
- Refrigerate and let stand overnight to marinate.
- Thread the marinated beef, peppers, mushrooms, and onions onto skewers.
- Grill the kabobs until the beef is cooked through and vegetables are tender.
