Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground lamb
  • 1/4 lb. ground pork
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 3/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. quick cooking oats
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaf
  • 1/4 tsp. dried rosemary leaf

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Prepare a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan; set aside.
  3. Beat eggs lightly with a fork in a mixing bowl.
  4. Add ground lamb and ground pork; blend lightly with a fork.
  5. Dissolve the bouillon cube in boiling water and add to the mixture along with all remaining ingredients.
  6. Blend lightly with a fork until well combined.
  7. Put the mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 1 1/2 hours until cooked through and browned.
